Meet Our Team

Max Mastodon - head ambassador
Max is the holotype specimen of the recently named mastodon species, Mammut pacificus, the Pacific mastodon. Max takes his job as the Western Science Center ambassador with great pride.
Mylo the Ground Sloth - chief cuddler
Offering free waves and hugs, Mylo represents the Harlan's Ground Sloth (Paramylodon harlani) fossils in the museum.
Lati the Long-Horn Bison - the muscle
Long-horned bison (Bison latifrons) had giant horns that were up to 7 feet long! Lati and their horns work as museum security.
