David G. Kelley passed in September 2026.

Senator David G. Kelley was one of the founders of the Western Center Community Foundation whose vision and dedication was instrumental in the creation of the Western Science Center (originally Western Center for Archaeology and Paleontology). He served on the Foundation’s Board of Directors since its formation in 1998. David’s support continued for the first two decades after the opening of the WSC museum and education center.
